Customer Reviews
Decent value with first order discount
This was my first purchase. I used the new customer discount, which saved me 10 euros on my 'primi piatti pronti' and 'torte gelato'. It made the overall price much more attractive. The 'cannelloni' were surprisingly good for frozen. Without the discount, it might be a bit pricey for my budget, but with it, I felt it was definitely worth what I paid. Delivery was also fine.
Always reliable for staples
This isn't my first time ordering from Bofrost, probably my fifth or sixth. I usually get their 'verdure surgelate' and 'minestroni' for quick dinners. This time, I also tried their 'lasagne'. The quality is consistently good across the board, which is why I keep coming back. My previous orders were just as smooth. Delivery was on time as usual. No complaints here, it's a dependable service for frozen items.
Quick frozen pizza
Needed a quick dinner. Ordered 'pizze surgelate'. Arrived in 3 days. Pizza was good. Easy to cook. Will order again.
Good quality, delivery was okay
I ordered a selection of frozen seafood, specifically the 'filetti di merluzzo' and some 'gamberi'. The ordering process on their website was straightforward, I found everything I wanted easily. Delivery took 4 days to arrive at my door in Milan. The driver was polite. Quality of the fish was quite good; it defrosted well and tasted fresh when cooked. The gamberi were plump. My only small issue was that one bag of merluzzo had a small tear, but the fish inside was still fully frozen. Overall, a solid experience for frozen groceries.
Got some ice cream
So I decided to try Bofrost for some 'gelati' and 'sorbetti' because I saw an ad. Placed my order, and it showed up a few days later, no drama. Everything was still perfectly frozen, which is always a relief with ice cream. The flavors were pretty nice, especially the sorbet. It was a pretty chill shopping experience, might grab some more next time I'm low on treats.
